Research Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled research and content specialists to join our team. This role involves researching laws and writing accurate, concise, and well-organized responses to various questions on different sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on a wide range of topics by referring to statutes, regulations, case law, and legal doctrines.
• Draft clear, concise, and accurate answers to law-related questions, ensuring content is accessible and understandable for a non-legal audience.
• Analyze legal documents, contracts, and court opinions to extract key information and summarize findings.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Stay up to date with legal developments, emerging trends, and changes in legislation to provide relevant and timely information.
• Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to internal quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Qualifications, experience, and educational requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in research, writing, or a similar role. Experience in legal journalism or technical writing is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and structured manner.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Legal writing certification is an asset but not mandatory.
