Research Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Secondary research to identify and source relevant articles / press releases on the given themes or topics
• Read and summarize articles, highlighting key insights and actionable information.
• Extract relevant data points from the article; convert data as per client’s format for easy consumption
• Map extracted information against the client’s focus areas, themes, and categories.
• Maintain the quality of data in accordance with client standards and guidelines.
• Upload extracted and summarized data into the client’s CMS; Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data being uploaded to the system.
• Escalate issues encountered while working on project to the Senior member for quick resolution.
• Collaborate with other team members effectively.
• Complete ownership of the tasks assigned; ensure timely delivery of all the daily tasks assigned with good quality.
• Validate and cross-check data entries with source documents for accuracy.

Experience:

• ~1-3 years of experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel (required)
• Secondary research experience of more than a year
• Strong comprehension skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals from various professional backgrounds
